Hemant is an experienced software engineer with a proven track record of designing and implementing scalable distributed micro-services and event-driven architectures. He began his backend technical journey with American Express (Amex), where he had the privilege to be part of great engineering teams. During his time at Amex, he participated in multiple design and solutioning discussions to build the Enterprise Communication Platform aka Raven from scratch, which delivers around 40M+ compliance-enabled communications volume daily and is horizontally scaled at 1500 TPS. In addition to building the platform, he has led discussions involving cross-border teams and POs to align on deliverable timelines and has been recognized for his contributions, receiving the prestigious PI Brainiac, Trend Setter, and Einstein Awards, as well as multiple appreciations from VP for Enterprise Communication Platform MVP, DR Certification, and contribution to various work-streams. He has also managed the registration and on-boarding of over 600 participants for Thomso Cultural Festival.
