• Big Data Big Impact is a student-led organization at Georgia Tech's College of Computing, focusing on leveraging big data and artificial intelligence to provide insight into some of the world's greatest challenges, from socioeconomic status to climate action.
• During my time at Big Data Big Impact, I was responsible for the complete restructuring and revamping of the club, from workshop curriculum to the creation of several departments and executive board positions, most notably our marketing and sponsorship departments.
• I led the initiative to build our social presence, and founded a marketing branch of our club, also creating more opportunities for underclassmen to assume leadership positions, and become more involved in the club.
• Under my leadership, we were able to set many club records under my leadership
• Our club grew to around 200 members, more than 2x growth year-to-year since I became VP
• Our executive board grew to 25 people, from freshman to graduate students, overlooking various initiatives
• We had 8 active projects and 10 project leads
• We led several initiatives including creating a sponsorship packet for our corporate partners, creating an alumni advisory board to involve alumni, and open-sourcing our big data content for others to learn from
• We released a brand-new website that accurately showcases the club including photos, an about page for prospective members or sponsors, and a projects page.
• We continued to expand our social presence growing our Instagram page (@gtbigdata) from 130 to over 1k followers
