Being in the field of managing military IT/ OT infrastructure for 10 years, provided a solid ground to attain required expertise to implement correct perspective of cyber security over critical IT/ OT infrastructure. Lead the Global Cyber Security Lab, Schneider at Bangalore as Lab Manager for 3 + years. Exposed to rich experience of handling pentest of 300+ critical ICS products i.e PLCs, RTUs, Historians, smart metres and associated applications. Gained effective experience in handling highly vibrant cybersecurity team (25 +) of Schneider Electric. It was great environment to exhibit leadership, management and strategic thinking in handling projects teams from different countries. I am a certified ISA 62443 Cybersecurity Expert and a recognised trainer for ISA 62443 Certification Course. I have few other certifications like CISSP, CISM, GPEN, GICSP, ISO 27001:2013 LA and AWS Security. I am a risk taker and wanted to explore my entrepreneurial mindset in OT security. Started a startup 'SECOT PVT Ltd'. It got very quick success in bagging big projects in middle east (RA of 120 electric substations and few more in oil & gas). However, projects couldn't be materialised due to COVID and suspension of flights. It had to end early, but I was an improved personality after more than half an year as a CEO. Moved to Germany, in Nov 2021, to join Siemens Energy at Erlangen to take charge of more complex roles and responsibilities for strengthening cybersecurity of Grid Automation Technologies for electrical utilities. Contributing in strategic decisions for OT cybersecurity in digitalisation journey of GAT, Siemens Energy. Employed with SKF as Global OT Security Strategist and Advisor. Contributed in formulating OT cybersecurity strategy, policy, governance, processes, including IT-OT convergence for 100+ manufacturing factories across the globe. Part of Future Factory in overseeing secure Industry 4.0 implementation. Currently, heading ICSBIT Labs Pvt for green/ brown field industrial security projects. Conducting Research and Development in the field of OT security specially in services and solutions.
