• This project is about Number Portability. Local Number Portability [LNP] refers to the ability of end users of telephone service to switch local carriers and keep the same telephone number. Local carriers also known as service provider (SP) are companies providing local telephone service to a consumer. The consumer is the residential or business customer with a telephone. BellSouth (BST) is a service provider. Other service providers are called Competitive Local Exchange Carriers (CLECs). They must submit Local Service Requests (LSRs) to BellSouth to switch a consumer’s service from BellSouth to the CLEC. These LNP LSRs are sent to the LNP Gateway and stored in the LNP database, where they remain until processed by a Local Carrier Service Center (LCSC). Responsibilities:

• Worked as an Intern to develop a module for MS SQL Server which monitors the Server and prompts for any critical stage that could lead to some disaster. This tools also had a thread which looks for the typical info of big database and big Tables and produce the output on daily basis.
