• A consequential life cycle assessment was performed to compare the environmental impacts of
• Organic Photo Voltaic cells when used to charge a phone battery of 2000 mAh for G20 Countries with different solar irradiations and were compared to electricity grid in these countries. According to the results, OPV based charger have potentially less environmental impacts in the countries using fossil fuel as the power source. The environmental impacts of OPVs are determined in this study with the aim of helping users to determine the environmental impacts of a new technology before adoption.
