• Developed a one-click cloud solution for one of the NPTEL courses, to spin up sandboxed environments on demand for students learning programming. End-to-end management of Google Could Compute VM instances from spawns to environment setups to auto shutdowns.
• Made Google coursebuilder, cloud platform-independent by removing dependencies on Google Cloud products. Replaced these with open source solutions like Redis (for caching), Flask (as web framework), Apache Beam (for bulk data processing) etc.

• Developed a POC app to detect and classify traffic signals in real time and on device. The classification model was trained using deep learning on an image dataset of traffic signals of Pune.
• Worked as a full stack developer developing https://swayam.gov.in : an online educational portal (initiative of Govt. Of India) used by 2.5 million students in India . It is based on Google’s Coursebuilder project and running on Google App Engine. Responsible for writing the backend Python handlers (business logic), for various student as well as admin features including handling payments for exam registrations. Also, worked on making the application threadsafe to support multithreaded execution.
• Designed and implemented an Exam Registration portal for students which interfaces with swayam.gov.in for some dependent data. Integrated a payment gateway for enabling online transactions, and handled payment failure, refunds, reports etc
