• MishiPay’s innovative solution allows retailers to offer an industry-leading customer experience using mobile self-checkout. With MishiPay, in-store shoppers can simply scan, pay and go without ever having to wait in a queue to pay for their shopping.
• Since creating the initial prototype, MishiPay has progressed rapidly, successfully raising £2million in seed funding and winning numerous awards and accolades. Today, MishiPay is being used by major retailers across the UK and Europe, including Decathlon, MediaMarktSaturn and Laithwaites.

• Developed the native iOS application for the company. Followed up the first release with a couple releases including new features, numerous bug fixes and reduced crash rate. Used Xcode Instruments to analyze performance of app and find bottlenecks. Currently working to improve performance and UX of the application.
• Along with that worked on side projects like the Endless Feed Problem and Pic Feature Detection problem. Wrote code to return feed items incrementally on each server call. Improved feed results by scoring the posts. Performed feature detection in images by writing an algorithm that performs a mix of face detection, eye detection and contouring to ultimately return a focal point of an image to be used for cropping or correctly displaying the image in an image holder.
