About

Started out as an engineer, stumbled into a classroom, and never looked back. Today, I work at the intersection of education and technology - building tools that make teachers’ lives easier and their impact even stronger. At Toddle, we partner with 2,000+ schools to simplify and elevate everyday teaching. I also lead Toddler’s Den, a network of Reggio-inspired preschools rooted in joyful, child-led learning.

Experience

Toddle, your teaching partner

Co-founder and CEO

Mar 2019Present · 7 yrs · Singapore

  • The greater good started small. Toddle began as an internal tool we built to support teachers at our own school.
  • Serendipitously, educators from other schools happened to see it, loved it, and encouraged us to build it in a scalable way so they could use it too. When educators lift each other up, something special happens and Toddle has grown faster than we ever imagined.
  • Today, Toddle is a full-stack, AI-first teaching and learning platform used by 2,000+ schools in 100+ countries. It streamlines every part of a teacher’s workflow - from planning to reporting - with built-in AI assistance at every step. Our goal is to help schools embrace AI in thoughtful, meaningful ways that lighten the load and elevate practice.

Toddler's den

Co-founder and CEO

Jan 2016Present · 10 yrs 2 mos · Ahmedabad, India

  • Co-founded Toddler’s Den to reimagine early learning through the lens of play. Visited some of the best schools in the world and read over 50 books on education as part of the research process. Set up 3 campuses across India in Ahmedabad, Mumbai, and Hyderabad. I still think that our Ahmedabad campus is one of the best-designed early learning spaces anywhere.
  • Running these schools gave me a front-row seat to the daily lives of teachers. I saw firsthand how disconnected, outdated tech tools directly affected both student experiences and teacher wellbeing.
  • Toddle began as a passion project here - built to support our teaching teams with curriculum design, student portfolios, family communication, and more.

Wonderboxx

Co-Founder and CEO

Feb 2014May 2016 · 2 yrs 3 mos · New Delhi Area, India

  • Left consulting to try building something of my own.
  • Teamed up with a couple of educator friends to create WonderBoxx - a subscription box for children aged 1 to 8. Our goal was simple: make learning joyful. And the best way we knew to do that was through play.
  • Made a lot of mistakes. Learned a lot. You can’t learn how to build unless you actually build.
  • This experience opened up the world of early childhood education for me and eventually led me to start a school.

Jan 2013May 2013 · 4 mos · Kigali, Rwanda

  • Worked with Rwanda’s Ministry of Health to connect 500+ health centers to the internet through a national ERP rollout.
  • It was my first time building for people whose day-to-day work actually changed lives. That pull to work on things with deeper purpose only got stronger from here.
  • Also got to travel across East Africa, still my favourite place in the world.

Jul 2011Dec 2012 · 1 yr 5 mos · Gurgaon, India

  • Worked as a consultant across real estate, airport retail, and public health. The last one interested me most - mostly because of who we were serving.
  • Made a lot of slides and Excel models. Learned a lot too. But always felt a gap - the work often felt a bit too high-level, and I found myself craving something more hands-on and real.
