• Co founded and led Product Management at a big data product startup addressing deep tech use cases. The core product was an award-winning (NASSCOM Top 10 Made in India Software Product, 2012), Hadoop based search engine, and an open source contribution from Bizosys called HSearch. Led product design and go to market for three unique solutions highlighted below :
• Txtland, 2013 - an intelligent CX solution with powerful entity recognition and integration on the fly capability
• 10Screens, 2012 - a low code application platform that transformed high-fidelity UI mocks into live applications rapidly. Led product design and launch as a Cloud based SaaS application that had thousands of users from over 70 countries. Successfully obtained a
• US Patent for the core idea behind ie. portal on the fly. (US Patent US8661015B2 granted 25 Feb 2014). Conceptualized data visualization and fault prediction of an ML-based telecom solution that drastically improved the productivity of tower maintenance staff.

• Led the UI migration effort of a large, established core banking suite with thousands of features, from Oracle forms (character mode UI) to the web. Designed and created a web and mobile-oriented design system. Worked closely with the technical product manager to automate the migration effort.

• Infosys's first designer hire, designed several products, set up its UX Design practice in 2002, and provided design leadership including integrating design process into software engineering. Trained software engineers and project teams on requirements management. Conceptualized a patented requirements management tool (US Patent US20060174222A1, 2006) and use case generator based on visual modeling. Among the products, significant contributions to the following:
• 2004: Conceptualized solution to capture tacit knowledge of workers by triggering memories in the context of a piece of text in a document in conjunction with viewer role. This solution was developed by Infosys R&D unit SETLabs, where I worked as a Senior Technical Architect to address the ageing workforce issue.
• 2002: Integrated Design Process into Software Engineering yielding a patentable product. End product, Influx, allowed multi disciplinary capture of functional requirements visually, and automatically generate a UML compliant use case document. Awarded Chairmans Excellence Award for Innovation.
• 1999: Core member of Onmobile, a mobile VAS solution incubated out of Infosys. Designed speech interfaces on a nuance edition trained for Indian accents.
• 1998 - Conceptualized a novel text search over video, designed the schema for storing events, entities to enable search. Designed visual editor tool with automatic object tracking and publishing to a video interaction enabled viewer. Client - Praja Inc, founded by Professors C.K.Prahalad and Ramesh Jain
• Finacle, 1997 - worked with bankers and subject matter experts to design from scratch, India's first Internet banking application. Also, was a core contributor to the UI migration of Finacle core banking application from character mode UI to Java applet GUI, followed by web and mobile versions between 1996 to 2000.
• Designed the UI of a client-server middleware application including an ASP style web interface in 1995.
