Alinea was a failed passion project of mine. I was on a podcast with 2 investors and happened to ask if they'd be willing to come on board as investors if we can make something like Shark Tank work. Well, we onboarded 6 investors and worked hard for a year, only to fail. We couldn't even launch the event. Inspite of failing so bad, this still remains my proudest accomplishment to date.
I pitched to VCs, convinced them, got a bunch of friends to work with me on the vision, and aspired to make a difference.
