To get deeper understanding of IT Industry, he joined Capgemini and post his short stint in consulting he took a break to pursue his MBA from Indian School of Business, where he got the opportunity to develop relations with leading business houses across Asia. Ajay dedicated his hours at ISB to develop and test investment strategies and was soon invited by ICICI Bank – India’s largest private bank to join their Investment Banking practice in Consumer and Technology Sector. In 2011 Ajay joined Vertex Venture Management – Largest VC firm in Singapore to manage their India Investment. At Vertex Ajay worked with various technology startups ranging from e-commerce cos. to D2C platforms. Capitalizing on his deep domain knowledge of India market, Ajay joined Fosun RZ Capital in 2016 to setup its India office. Driving the India initiatives for Fosun RZ Capital, he played key role in developing the focus on FinTech & Consumer Tech. In his evolution from entrepreneur to venture capitalist and back to startup builder, Ajay has traversed a full circle, consistently delivering impactful results at each juncture.
