Dr.Ravi Shankar Saripalle — Co-Founder

Dr. Ravi Shankar Saripalle has been the Professor of Entrepreneurship at GITAM University. Before this, he worked as Director of the Centre for Innovation and Incubation at Gayatri Vidya Parishad College of Engineering for the past 14 years. During this time, the center has successfully incubated more than 25 startups and contributed to filing, publishing, and granting over 80 patents. Ravi initiated the Inspire to Innovative (I2I) Storytelling Movement through i2iTM.blogspot.com, aiming to inspire students using storytelling and letter-writing methods. He is also actively promoting the adoption of Design Thinking among youth, recognizing its importance in shaping future products and services. Furthermore, Ravi is a member of MentorEdge and CIIE (Center for Innovation Incubation and Entrepreneurship) at IIM Ahmedabad. He serves as an advisory member to several product startups and STPI Kalpataru CoE under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India. Ravi has also served as a jury member for numerous business pitch competitions. In addition to his current role, Dr. Ravi is an advisor to Enligence Technology Labs, an AI-powered Metaverse Master Trainer for Advanced Communication and Employability Platform. Before that, Dr. Ravi worked with Wipro Technologies for over 13 years, accumulating a total of 26 years of experience in Consulting, Program Management, Training and Mentoring, Managed Services, Pre-sales, Innovation, and Entrepreneurial Development Processes. During his tenure at Wipro, Ravi was involved in mega outsourcing deals and management consulting assignments, working with global clients such as Microsoft, Nokia, Ericsson, FedEx, JP Morgan, Charles Schwab, EMC, Avaya, and OKI-Data. He traveled on for various consulting assignments. Dr. Ravi has published articles on IT trends and technical topics in various national and international peer-reviewed journals and newspapers. He has also delivered numerous talks at national and international forums, including the FICCI-DST India R&D Conference, ISB Innovators Conference, and as a panel member at conferences held at IIT Chennai and IIT Delhi. He was invited to speak at the Indo-Japan Summit as well. Dr. Ravi received the Best Mentor Award at the Yuva Summit from Nobel Peace Prize Winner Kailash Satyarthi, Infosys Narayana Murthy, Gururaj Deshpande,Deshpande Foundation 2015. Dr. Ravi holds a Ph.D. in Innovation Management, a Master of Computer Applications from Andhra University, an MBA in Human Resource Management, and a GMP from IIM Bangalore.
