I have 30 years of work experience after MBA. Most of the work has spanned across banking and financial services in the space of outsourcing and offshoring. The diversity includes working for retail banks, investment banks and asset management firms. Career has rapidly progressed from being an individual contributor to managing large delivery teams / tactical operations to strategic and transformational projects. Got to manage teams and also led the first transition independently. Move to EXL further established me as a strong operations manager with the need to manage larger teams across extensive portfolio of activities (inbound / outbound / email / back office) and across multiple clients (mortgage / credit cards / retail banking / NBFC). Key success lied in setting up new operations from scratch for demanding clients. After 5 years at EXL, have spent the next 7 years at UBS. This opportunity gave me the biggest shift in my career thus far - from working as an operations manager in a global banking captive to being a Board Director and COO at the firm. Joined JP Morgan in Bangalore as Location Head for Asset & Wealth for Management Operations. Managed Credit Risk, Mortgages, Reconciliations, Retirement Planning processes over a period of 4 years. Subsequently, spent 6 years in Securities Services Operations business of Corporate & Investment Banking taking care of some of the largest and complex fund accounting onboarding of various Mutual Funds and Pension Funds.
