I’m passionate about creating meaningful opportunities for children and youth from low-income communities—helping them realize their life and career aspirations. Fold cracking is a very relevant industrial problem in this age of multicolored graphic products. To quantify and analyze fold-cracking in coated papers, this work studied the impact of latex content and coat weight on the fold cracking phenomenon in three different types of base papers. Two different latex types (with high and low Tg) were used to quantify the impact of glass transition temperature of latex on fold cracking.
