• I am leading Machine Learning Studio – Development Platform & Experiences organization, with responsibilities spreading from planning, feature definition and development of UX and backend services to deploying and live site monitoring.
• Platform built for metrics and tracking feature usage and customer feedback input, empowered the organization to be data driven and customer driven in strategy and roadmap planning.
• The platform encased authentication, authorization and onboarding of all Azure ML offers, highly scalable geo distributed services for authoring machine learning models that are used by the UX and other internal, external partners to build applications on top.
• Ability to publish these models onto Gallery and making it publicly accessible, as well as features such as sharing enhances collaboration and resulted in good customer satisfaction.
• Led the group thru the first launch of Public Preview and General Availability in less than a year and growing the team 4 fold.

• Led Multi-Factor Authentication Service for Windows Azure Service and Office 365 Service from incubation to release. This is a key feature which increased market penetration in the enterprise segment for these billion dollar business.
• Worked closely with customers to collect voice of customer and translate that in to prioritized scenarios and put together the roadmap.
• Partnered with Business Group to evangelize various monetization strategies for Multi-Factor Authentication Service Offers.
• Set the vision and outlined the multi-year strategy. Led the scalable design architecture and collaborated across 4 different groups to execute and light up the scenario.
• Key player in evaluation and acquisition of PhoneFactor and led onboarding and integration with Microsoft; at the same time ensured that customers had a seamless experience.

• Designed, implemented and released a V1 service - Windows Intune : PC and mobile device management in the cloud, which turned into 100 million dollar business.
• Drove change management and brought adoption of new technology into the group.
• Put together road map for the development team and managed the team to ensure that the team consistently shipped per the road map.
• Managed a global team and collaborated across groups.
• Put together the strategy and execution plan for new remote control workload and got exec buy-in.
• Owned Asset workload and overall AIS 2.0 for Wave 1, Wave 2 with the addition of Remote Control workload in Wave 2.
• Drove changes in features after collecting customer input and learning’s from AIS 1.0, providing huge savings in terms of cost of goods.

• Part of a team evaluating the architecture & making acquisition recommendation of AssetMatrix, a Canada based company
• Led the design and ship of new V1 Asset Inventory end to end service within a year’s time with key component ownership – end to end architecture, inventory client, server components (Inventory web service, database backend, reporting, middle tier API)
• Architected and owned the high level design including requirement gathering for the Catalog Service to be used by SCCM product.
• Worked with senior management, cross-discipline and cross-group to align release goals with long-term strategy for this first attached svc
• Drove the strategy of consolidating the inventory collection feature across Asset and WSUS and thus eventually consolidating it with SCCM and other Management products, leading to better integration and less discrepancy
• Microsoft Corporation - Windows Update / Windows Server Update Services (WSUS)
• Microsoft Update Reporting Data warehouse project
• Architected and implemented from scratch the Data Warehouse solution for Microsoft Update Reporting, a highly scalable system storing 7 TB of data, transforming incoming data of 7M events per hour from over 400M clients, while leading & coaching the team members.
• The MU Reporting system was one of two solutions to be used as case studies & performance benchmarks for SQL.
• The design and architecture for this project are a huge success and the design was reused by multiple teams within the organization like DevDiv, as well as SQL Team using our project as a partner for performance work in SQL Katamai Release.
• MU Reporting Project was talked about as large DW success story and was showcased to top company executives.

• WUServiceAdmin Suite consists of WUServiceAdmin Site and Updates Management Automation Service (UMAS).
• Drove the scheduling, requirements, designing and implementation of WU Service Administration Suite project. Stepped up to take on the additional responsibilities of a PM and helped the team to get the program delivered on target.
• Displayed boundary less behavior by working across teams to drive our requirements and also to promote code reuse. Was actively engaged in the design decisions which affect both the teams. The tool became so popular its scope was soon expanded to othes.
• WU Driver Swat
• The SWAT team consisted of cross functional teams put together having members from WHQL, WU technology and WU PSS groups to address the high Driver Install Failure percentage.
• Quickly ramped up the understanding of this giant ambiguous product end to end (understanding various components from client thru server & publisher tools spanning various technologies - C++, C#, SQL, JavaScript, ASP
• Led the effort to bring the team to a jump-start and get a quick turnaround with problems pertaining to Drivers along with managing Cross-Group Collaboration and motivating the team. Drove cross communication and upper management communication on status.
• Played a key role in exceeding the goal of reducing the Driver Install Failure from 15% range to below 3%, by doing excellent problem solving across end to end components (from publishing to the client to the system level PNP) that were outside my scope as well.
