Prior to joining Google, Karan worked as a Product Manager at Microsoft. At Microsoft, he was responsible for scaling Actionable Messages in Microsoft Outlook to enable enterprise workers to complete workflows from within emails, and thereby safeguard their productivity by eliminating context-switching. Before joining Microsoft, Karan was a Product Manager at Goldman Sachs. Karan received his MBA from IIM Bangalore, where he published two newspaper articles on Affordable Healthcare in Rural India and proposed the blueprint of this scheme to the Prime Minister’s Office, Delhi. Karan graduated from IIIT Hyderabad with Bachelors in Computer Science and Engineering. At IIIT Hyderabad, he developed a fingerprint detection algorithm, that later went on to become a part of Aadhar Card initiative sponsored by the Government of India.
