Dr Aquil Busrai is a University Rank Holder and a Gold Medalist from XLRI, where he obtained his MBA. He has to his credit a Post Graduate Degree in Law, an Advanced Diploma in Training and Development besides PhD. He is pursuing his second PhD and a Master's Degree in Anthropology. Dr Busrai is a Certified Executive Coach Dr Busrai has five decades of experience in the Industry. He has worked in various HR roles with Unilever in Kenya and India and was Executive Director of HR Motorola for Asia Pacific countries. He worked with Shell Malaysia as Director of Human Resources and Managing Director of Shell People Services Asia Sdn Bhd. His last corporate assignment was with IBM India Limited as Executive Director of Human Resources. He is currently CEO of aquil busrai consulting. He is a Fellow of the All India Mgt Asscn and Institute of Directors. He is also the Past National President of the National HRD Network. Dr Busrai is a visiting faculty at Berkeley EMP and UCLA PGPX, besides the Indian Institute of Management. Dr Busrai is a keen student of non-verbal communication and is authoring a book on 'Body Language'. He is an ardent wildlife enthusiast and a serious wildlife photographer. Dr Busrai was honoured by National HRD Network as an “Outstanding Seasoned HR Professional” in 2007. He was bestowed the “Lifetime Achievement Award” by National HRD Network in 2012, the Top Rankers in Kuala Lumpur in 2015, and Zee TV in 2020. In March 2015, he was honoured with the “Golden Globe Tigers Award” in Kuala Lumpur for Leadership in HR. In November 2015, XLRI honoured him with the “Distinguished Alumnus Lifetime Achievement Award”. In 2018, he was adjudged among the “Most powerful HR Professional in India” at the Asia Pacific HRM Summit in Tokyo. He was awarded the “Glory of HR India Award” by HR Success Talk in 2020. In 2021, Economic Times honoured Dr Busrai as the “Outstanding HR Consultant of the Year” Same year, HRO Today the USA bestowed on him the “Asia Pacific HR Thought Leadership Award”. In August 2022, Dr Busrai was honoured with the “Culture Transformation Leader of the Year Award” by Transformance Forum.
