Freshmenu

Senior Product Manager

Jan 2016Jun 2016 · 5 mos · Bangalore

  • I lead the Product team at Freshmenu and improved various facets of the product to increase revenues and customer experience. - Launched the self-developed website and apps of Freshmenu. Implemented product analytics (GA , funnel and user behaviour segmentation) across the products and used it for data-driven decisions. Subsequently, improved SEO and optimised website performance via various projects. This improved the overall conversion rate by 37% (with mobile web conversion increasing by over 60%) in two months.
  • Also introduced targeted customer marketing and engagement tools to upset and cross-sell products. Along with this worked with digital marketing team to increase product relevance (hence decrease marketing costs) and introduce customer loyalty and referral programs.
  • To improve post-order experience, I introduced a non-intrusive feedback screen in apps and linked it to our customer service team for issues. Internally, we re-engineered the back-end model to automatically generate product, category and kitchen reports. This clubbed it with customer’s rating of the product and service gave us an end-to-end picture of performance on both revenue and likability scale.
  • I also negotiated deals with payment providers and introduced a variety of payment options for the users, while bringing the payment failure rate to <5%. With the design team, I also designed information architecture and flows for a new website design, which boasts of world class experience (currently under-development).
