Simmi is the founder of Climake, a leading climate finance advisory firm focused on advancing climate finance in the global south. Climake has built a series of interventions to advance the cause of increasing private investments for climate action where it is most needed. We do this via (a) actionable research: our annual ‘State of Climate Finance’ report is go-to resource for both investors and founders; (b) mentoring founders and helping them connect with the right capital providers and (c) advising capital providers on building investing thesis for new and emerging areas of climate finance. Climake was instrumental in helping 100+ startups get access to capital and has helped drive $200 million+ of new capital to climate action.
