In 2024, she stepped into her new global role as the Head of Customer Innovation Services, SAP, as part of Board Member Thomas Saueressig’s Leadership Team. Sindhu is known for her deep technical expertise and is widely respected for bringing to life, SAP's vision of Intelligent Enterprise during her time at the SAP headquarters in Germany. She is known for her inclusive leadership style and is admired as a people leader and a long-standing ally of the LGBTQIA+ community. She also serves on SAP’s Autism at Work Executive Advisory Committee. As a global technology leader, Sindhu serves as an Independent Director at Siemens India. In her role as the Chairperson at nasscom, India’s apex technology and industry trade body, Sindhu plays a key role in charting the next chapter of India’s USD 1Trillion Digital Economy, while also developing India as a technology hub of the world. Additionally, Sindhu serves as the President at Indo-German Chamber of Commerce where she is a key influencer driving bilateral trade and deliberations between India and Germany. Sindhu also serves on the AI Advisory Council for the World Economic Forum’s ‘AI for India 2030’ initiative. For three consecutive years, Sindhu has been recognized by Fortune Magazine among the Top 50 Most Powerful Women in Business. She has received several other industry accolades including Asia’s Most Promising Business Leader, Leader Extraordinaire by Zinnov, and Most Influential AI Leader among others for her contribution towards creating a more diverse and inclusive IT industry in India. Sindhu is based out of Bangalore where she lives with her husband, two daughters and her lab, Dexter.
