I am a seasoned startup leader passionate about driving high-growth ventures across Southeast Asia’s dynamic tech and fintech landscapes. After eight transformative years scaling startups in the region, I am excited to bring my experience to Alpha JWC, where we empower the next generation of innovative founders. Previously, I was the CFO at Hangry, Indonesia’s first multi-brand virtual restaurant. Under my leadership, we rapidly expanded to over 100 kitchens across 10 cities, developing seven unique brands from scratch. Backed by top-tier investors like Sequoia and DST, Hangry revolutionized the food delivery ecosystem by seamlessly integrating with major platforms and pioneering new customer experiences. Before that, I served as COO of Taralite, a fintech P2P lending platform providing financial access to e-commerce merchants on Lazada and Tokopedia. I led Taralite’s acquisition by Ovo—Indonesia’s leading fintech unicorn owned by Grab—where I continued to drive post-merger integration and spearhead key initiatives in Lending, Insurance, and Wealth Management. As part of Ovo's executive team, I played a strategic role in fundraising, M&A, and inorganic growth, helping position Ovo at the forefront of Indonesia’s booming fintech sector. Prior to my entrepreneurial journey, I was an investor and fund manager at SBI (formerly SoftBank Investments), focusing on high-impact ICT startups across Southeast Asia. I began my career at Singapore’s government investment arm, where I helped seed some of the region’s top VC firms, building deep relationships with investors, startups, and multinational corporations. With a diverse background spanning venture capital, M&A, corporate strategy, and executive leadership, I have a proven track record of scaling ventures from inception to acquisition and beyond. I hold an MBA from INSEAD and was part of the prestigious NOC program at Fudan University, completing my undergraduate studies at the National University of Singapore on a government scholarship. Based in Singapore, I balance my career with being a proud father of two. I am deeply committed to mentoring the next generation of entrepreneurs and contributing to Southeast Asia’s thriving startup ecosystem.
