Project: Electric Climate Compressor  Responsible for New product Development projects related to Electric climate compressor system. Responsibilities:  Procuring the customer’s product performance requirements through SOR (statement of requirement).  Execute proto-type build, evaluate product performance against customer requirements for concept level ideas as well as detailed design in series.  Designing and developing components by application of DFM and DFA methodologies, in conformance to pre-defined technical specifications which fulfils customer requirements.  Utilize DFSS concepts, tools such as P-Diagram, DFMEA, and Interface diagrams for new product development or existing product improvements.  Active CFT member to collaborate with Variation Analysis Engineer for statistical tolerance Stack up calculations. Also close collaboration with simulation team to setting up boundary conditions for FEA analysis and to validate design changes.
Utilize understanding of manufacturing processes to improve new and existing designs and acts as a technical resource for internal and external customers and resolves technical challenges.  Understanding of HVAC systems in automotive and application of it to create interface diagrams for different variants of climate compressor systems.  Potential contribution in design and development of machined components like ‘Compressor Housing’s’ for climate compressor in rapid prototyping for sample phase as well as casting process in series.  Responsible for obtaining customer inputs for design of die cast parts used in Climate compressors.  With application of problem solving techniques, responsible for finalizing solution with design of Swing link and balancing weights for the static and dynamic balancing of the system.
