About

I am a medical technologist, a digital health entrepreneur, and a public health enthusiast with over two decades of health service design experience in varied settings and geographies. My journey has evolved from being deeply engaged in the research and development of medical technologies, to running a health tech startup with the aim to provide ambulatory medical grade monitoring services using wearables, remote monitoring, and AI. Along the way, I have been engaged in public health and am discovering ways to introduce and sustain a wide variety of med-tech innovations to benefit rural and underserved communities. I continue to work with social development organisations to design models that can benefit low skilled caregivers in rural settings, and bridge the gap between biomedical technology advancements and marginalised communities in need of low cost health services. My domain expertise in the clinical field includes, among others, medical grade wearable design, public health, remote patient monitoring, telemedicine workflows, algorithm design, AI in medicine, cardiac care, point-of-care diagnostics, medical imaging, and clinical trials. I mentor various health technology startups across India and have been a speaker on digital health transformation at global forums. I have authored peer reviewed scientific articles in leading academic journals, and hold global patents. In between things, I practice creative writing and have published my fiction in several print and online literary magazines.
