Amit Anand — Co-Founder

Amit is the founding partner & managing director of Singapore’s largest independent venture capital firm, Jungle Ventures. Under his leadership, Jungle has grown to manage over $1Bn in assets, a 100X increase in the last decade since inception. He has worked with hundreds of founding teams from markets such as India, Indonesia and Vietnam and sourced and mentored the first four unicorns of the firm into regional or global category leaders in software and consumer sectors. Amit has spent 25 years in South Asia as an early pioneer and leader in the development of the region's venture capital and technology industry. He was the vice chairman of Business Angels Network of Southeast Asia (BANSEA), held executive positions in sales and business development at Progress Software ($1.6 Bn NASDAQ listed software giant) and at Tata Infotech Ltd, India (acquired by TCS for ~$259m) and the founder of Ettamina Studios, a Singapore-India based animation studio. He is the first Aspen Financial Leaders Fellow from the venture capital community in India and SEA and the first Kauffman Fellows from Singapore.
