About

Currently a Sr. Technical Recruiter supporting NextEra's Analytics and IT department. I have a niche for creative sourcing techniques, discovering untapped talent (and getting them offers) while providing a white-glove candidate experience beginning to end. I am experienced recruiting in fast paced, high volume environments which includes university recruiting as well as industry recruiting. At NextEra I manage the full cycle recruiting process from sourcing to onboarding for 55+ requisitions partnering closely with our hiring managers and building trusting relationships across our teams. The types of roles I hire for include software engineers, machine learning, data analysts, research scientists, electrical and hardware engineers, executive roles (VP, SVP), marketing, sales, finance and accounting roles, During my time at Meta I focused on building a team of salesforce engineers, application managers, applied research scientist and many more niche roles. At Amazon I was hiring quality assurance engineers, principal engineers, front end engineers and other tech and non tech roles. I was contracted at Microsoft where I started my career there as a recruiting coordinator. After a few months I was offered a contract sourcing position where I learned to seek talented University engineers, program managers, hardware engineers, firmware engineers, sales and marketing positions. Towards the later end of my contract, I was offered a closer recruiter role working closely with summer interns. I was also extending and closing offers for full time positions, negotiating offers, and working closely with account managers for req availability. I consult candidates based on their individual skills and aspirations, while highlighting company culture, new hire processes, and career growth. There's very little that's more rewarding than linking my candidates with a life-changing opportunity! I've had the opportunity to drive the overall recruiting strategy, strategize with engineering managers to support hiring needs, and built strong relationships with cross-functional partners including HR, Engineering Leaders, Compensation, and Events. I am self-motivated and a quick learner who is eager to take on any new challenges!
