• Ashok Leyland is an Indian multinational automotive company and one of the largest manufacturers of buses, trucks, and commercial vehicles in the world. Worked in the R&D section to analyse truck components for structural integrity and propose the optimal model for deployment.
• Major Highlights
• Modelled a truck bed plate vibrator in the component test laboratory using CATIA software suite and    carried out structural analysis and loading tests to ensure quality control.
• Involved in a live 6-month project to perform stress analysis of 3 different tail door mechanisms in    trucks. Visited local quarry sites to carry out surveys and to understand customer requirements.
• Conducted a Quality Function Deployment Analysis using the collected data in Excel and converted    them to corresponding quantitative characteristics in the tail doors.
• Simulated Finite Element Stress/Strain models under both static and dynamic loading using Ansys    software for the tail door models and selected the most structurally feasible model.
• Documented and demonstrated results to delivery manager for further tests and the ensuing    implementation.
