Hi. I’ve been hacking on projects for twenty five years and in the industry professionally for fifteen. I’ve done everything from building game engines in my spare time, to catching fraud and abuse at Google, to holding a pager for a 700,000qps planetary scale service, to building data and indexing systems for an FDA approved always online deep learning based medical device/service, to building a state of the art deep learning training and inference system powering modern day fin-tech in the US. I’ve been a team of one. I’ve also managed organizations. I fancy myself a generalist, but hold many specialties as well. When I'm not in NYC, I'm hiding out in the mountains of western NC.
