About

❓Do you need a (cybersecurity/AI/DevOps/AIOps/IoT/Blockchain/Web3) writer who "gets" your product/service? ❓Do you struggle to publish content that shows your unique proposition, for example, that you’re pure-play AI and not rules-based AI- and why that matters? ❓Do you want to hit the content sweet spot-> translate product features into benefits and address your target tech buyers' pains in your blog posts/white papers? 👋Hi, nice to meet you! ➡️My services for B2B technology companies- ⚫Interview-led Blog posts ⚫White papers/E-books ⚫Case studies ⚫Forbes thought leadership ➡️When an AIOps + Robotic Data Automation Fabric company (🟠CloudFabrix- www.cloudfabrix.com) hires me for blog posts and white papers, I deliver content that shows the product's impact on customer businesses. ➡️When you want a case study that's not all about you (gross!), I use my interviewing skills to find how you made a difference to your customer. Like I did for a cybersecurity company in France (🟠TEHTRIS www.tehtris.com). ➡️The days of low-quality content are numbered (thanks, AI). You need to interview subject matter experts for blog posts and white papers, so that your content is unique, insightful and value-adding, like the crypto tax guides I created for a crypto tax software company (🟠Binocs, https://binocs.co/in/). ➡️You're done winging content. You need a well-documented content strategy. I map out buyer personas, link features vs. benefits, perform competitor content research, and analyze your current content bank to spot gaps. As I did for an AI-based Learning Experience Platform (🟠ICOG www.icog.ai). Get CLARITY about the direction of your content marketing, the goals you want to reach, and how you'll get there. ➡️You've come a long way but your website didn't evolve with you. Let's update it end-to-end. Like I did for a SaaS CX platform (🟠Kapture https://www.kapture.cx/). ✅Bottom line is: You need someone who understands your complex B2B tech product, buyer group, and positioning/messaging. I discover your audience's pains and desires and approach topics from diverse perspectives based on their intent. Ready to invest in specialized and strategized long-form content for bottom-of-the-funnel prospects? Join 70+ complex technology companies I’ve worked with in my 7 years of experience. 🚀My portfolio https://freelancetechwriter.com/portfolio/. 🚀Email me: divya@freelancetechwriter.com.

Guest Writer and Podcast Guest

Feb 2025Mar 2025 · 1 mo

  • Contributed a series of 4 articles for PWA members and appeared on their podcast to talk about LinkedIn marketing and lead generation for freelance writers.
  • Shared my experiments with LinkedIn marketing in 2018- how video was a thing back then. Also talked about inbound vs outbound marketing methods and how writers should take vanity metrics with a grain of salt.
  • As a LinkedIn marketing coach for freelance writers, all my teachings are based on these truths-
  • 1. LinkedIn is not the primary job for freelance writers- it's only a part of our marketing. So we need a way to sustainably post on LI and send those outreach messages without compromising on quality or reaching burnout.
  • 2. A sustainable marketing strategy that you can execute on a bad day is 10x better than an aspirational marketing strategy you can only execute once week.
  • 3. Cheap attention is killing LinkedIn marketing for freelance writers. You will struggle to convert clients on LinkedIn if you chase likes, comments, and impressions.
  • 4. Your ideal clients are reading your content, so don't rant about the market, client relationships, etc.
  • 5. Your ideal clients are reading your content, so find new ways to talk about your services and speak directly to your ideal clients.
  • If your audience would love a talk or a workshop on LinkedIn content, setting up your LI profile, or executing LI outbound marketing, write to me at divya@freelancetechwriter.com.

Fhenix

Freelance tech content writer

Nov 2023Mar 2024 · 4 mos · Remote

  • Fhenix lies at the intersection of Web3 and data privacy. As part of my engagement, I'm learning about FHE (Fully Homomorphic Encryption) and its impact on Web3, GenAI, DAOs, etc.
  • I'm responsible for creating content for blog posts given a brief idea of the topic, which means my research needs to be extensive. So, I read content from SMEs within Fhenix and their partner company, Zama, research papers published on data privacy in Web3, competitor content, what Web3 developers are saying on social media, and influencer opinions, and put those into a conversational, well-articulated blog post.
  • I love that the marketing team is small and innovative, and highly focused on the quality of the content. Plus, I love a new challenge where I get to learn about new technologies and exercise my writing and research capabilities.

Kapture cx

Technology Website Content Writer

  • All of us need a glow-up time and again, amiright?
  • Kapture had come a long way- they got more focused with their business, implemented new AI use cases for their various CX solutions, and wanted to adopt a fresh, quirky, and modern brand image.
  • Their website no longer reflected their new and awesome business focus, use cases, and brand.
  • Kapture decided that the content would come first and then the design would follow.
  • So, it was my job to create wireframes or outlines for each page on their website. After studying their internal marketing materials, discussing the new brand identity with the key stakeholders, and doing my own research about their product and audience, I built the outlines.
  • Then, one fine day, I got creative and wrote creative headlines for each industry page and platform page. Headlines, such as- "Travel calories don't count. But Travel experiences do."
  • I decided to front-load each page with social proof as Kapture has worked with 1,000+ enterprise clients and helped them revolutionize Customer Experience. So, KPI and ROI metrics, case study videos, and client logos came early on each page.
  • Then, I added contextual data to the product's features for each industry, so that the features/benefits would look and sound different for Travel than Consumer Durables.
  • I created a separate section to highlight AI/ML/GenAI use cases. And finally added FAQs to each page for better SEO.
  • Attached is the case study of the process and you'll find the samples of my work with Kapture in my portfolio.

  • I felt like a layperson trying to understand AIOps, Data Fabric and Log Intelligence technology for this client.
  • Of course, there's nothing easy about it, even for someone with a degree in computer science.
  • How did I stop feeling intimidated?
  • By diving into the subject using the web and internal documents shared by my client at the beginning of our engagement.
  • I asked questions, brought a unique perspective to their content and have been retained for well over a year by CloudFabrix.
  • I create long-form blog posts and white papers that contextualize complex topics of AIOps, Observability, Data Fabric and Log Intelligence for CloudFabrix's buyers and users.
  • I make sure the content I produce doesn't oversimplify concepts that CTOs, SREs, DevOps teams and operations teams (my client's audience) are already aware of.
  • I only contextualize it so that the reader relates to it, recognizes its value and moves further in the sales pipeline.
  • I work closely with the SEO person at CloudFabrix and strategically place keywords throughout blog posts and white papers to improve rankings.
  • I also interview key persons at the company to get their fresh take and insights on certain subjects where there isn't a lot of information available on the internet- AIOps and observability are still nascent.
  • Getting over the initial intimidation taught me that making complex technologies contextualized for your readers is actually my strong suit.
  • Today, when a client needs me to write about a complex technology, I think back to this experience and tell myself the classic - "I've done it before and I can do it again."

Content Writer Consultant (EdTech)

Jun 2021Nov 2021 · 5 mos

  • I love being challenged, but this was too much. I was to come up with a GTM (go-to-market) content strategy for this client for their new SaaS EdTech platform.
  • They wanted to be ready with the content strategy and content to launch the SaaS version of their Learning Experience Platform (LXP).
  • I'd never helped a client with strategy.
  • I interviewed the client to learn about their ideal buyer group (5 different personas across org hierarchy), their pain points, and desires.
  • I studied their internal documentation about how they were different/better than competitors, their product's features, and the functionalities they wanted to introduce in the future.
  • I mapped all of this in a Spreadsheet that started with each buyer in my client's audience group, their pains, desires, the product's features, benefits and finally, content topic ideas for each user persona to see how the product would help them.
  • This way, the company would always stick to their core messaging across all their content. This way, they will pointedly speak to an ideal buyer at all times.
  • Is it showing that I was proud of this work? I am proud of it. :)
  • Not just this, I also performed competitor content research, studying 3 of their top competitors' website, blog, and LinkedIn content going back up to 3 months.
  • This competitor research helped spark content ideas the company could start implementing.
  • As they were rolling out a new SaaS product, it was important to perform cold LinkedIn outreach. With all my understanding of their target audience from the GTM content strategy, I created 5 power-packed LinkedIn cold outreach messages to help my client secure their first set of customers.
  • Finally, I created content pieces - case studies, articles, pitch decks, video scripts, LinkedIn posts, blog posts, and more.
  • Evolving into a content strategist from a freelancer was interesting with them.
  • Now, when a new client wants me to set the direction for their content marketing, I'm ready for it.

1:1 LinkedIn consultations for freelance writers

Dec 2020Present · 5 yrs 3 mos

  • LinkedIn marketing is simple in theory-
  • 1. Set up a LinkedIn profile
  • 2. Start connecting with potential clients in your industry
  • 3. Publish content that attracts clients to you
  • And yet, freelance writers struggle with it. There's a lot of free advice out there which can confuse and overwhelm you into inaction. Plus, LinkedIn isn't your WHOLE business. So, you gotta find time for it and experiment with it to find what's working.
  • You can do that...Or...
  • Book a 1:1 consultation with me, where I'll walk you through my content ideation process, draft posts with you, answer your questions about LinkedIn marketing, or suggest improvements in your LI profile.
  • The best part is YOU decide the direction of our chat. I collect your questions before the call and come prepared with information and strategies you can use to find better leads fast on LinkedIn.
  • LinkedIn is the reason I have a freelance writing business that consistently grows. I've found my ideal clients on this platform (mostly they find me).
  • At one point, my mentor pointed out that I could teach other writers how I was doing it. So I started consulting writers who struggled with marketing their business on LinkedIn.
  • Through 1:1 consultation sessions, I have helped writers optimize their profiles, create a cold outreach strategy, brainstorm content ideas, actively engage with other people's content, get into the right mindset so that they don't feel like an imposter when they show up on LinkedIn, and consistently publish their own lead-generating posts.
  • If any of this resonates with you, DM me to book your consultation spot. I charge $200 per hour of consultation. My LI recommendations say it's worth it.
  • Like this one-
  • "The best part of working with Divya was her approach & strategies to view everything from the POV of your target audience, whether it be your profile or content. It truly became a game-changer for me. And I wish everyone can benefit from it as well😊✨"

Boss Woman (Director)

Jul 2018Present · 7 yrs 8 mos

  • 5+ years of writing blog posts, white papers, case studies, and thought leadership articles for B2B technology companies globally.
  • Yes, I ask hard questions such as ‘what is the goal behind reaching this particular audience with this message and why should they care right now?’
  • That’s what makes a difference between vanilla internet content and something that sticks- informs, engages and entertains an audience.
  • Since there’s no one else talking here, I need to say so myself- I’m SO good at interviewing subject matter experts that your content becomes interesting…even for B2B.
  • And, it helps that I know how to work with SEO professionals to make your content search friendly.
  • But my expertise lies in hitting that sweet spot between highlighting your tech product's features/benefits, addressing customer pain points, and establishing your competitive positioning.
  • This way, your audience knows why YOU and not another company can help them.
  • Clients include ICOG (EdTech SaaS company), TEHTRIS (cybersecurity), CloudFabrix (AIOps and RDAF), Binocs (crypto tax), KiwiTech (startup software development), and several other B2B technology agencies and companies.
  • I’ve written extensively about cybersecurity, AI/ML, DevOps, IoT, Blockchain and Web3.
