• In this 3 months internship at VMware's London Office, I worked on GemFire, which is a distributed data management platform offering dynamic replication, data partitioning techniques, continuous availability, high performance and linear scalability. My task was to investigate GemFire as a potential database backend for VMware View Event Management.

• Developed Local Mode feature of VMware View (now Horizon). Local Mode feature lets a user to download his virtual machine on the local system and then sync up later with the central server. This is helpful when a user is going offline. I was involved in increasing the efficiency of the VM image transfer between the two systems.
