• At Wynk, I have worked on re-designing the existing OTT solution using latest android architecture components, MVVM, clean architecture, Kotlin and re-factoring the core(APIs, business logic & caching) of airtel TV app to build a common SDK.
• Taken the responsibility of Airtel Xstream smart stick, software features and Its SDK from scratch to production ready. Work with OEMs and different OTT partners like Netflix towards the compatibility of hardware and product requirements, I was leading all device related developments and discussions.
• Worked with cross functional teams like UX, branding and product. Apart from leading from device front and SDK development I have been involved in developing Leanback UI for Android TV and I can proudly say that it is a crash free app.

• Initially, I have been taking care of team(android & iOS) working on selfcare app for a US based client with myself working on some core design and technical feasibility decisions, Salesforce and app PoCs to optimize & innovate things.
• I have lead the camera module(OnVif, P2P) for a Smart Home IoT solution. Making flow for exact use cases and wrote minimal requirements to vendor for camera hardware.
• State machine implementation in c++ to read the frames from RTSP stream and perform face detection using OpenCV compiled libraries and later integrated it with android app using JNI.
• R&D of certain other devices like ZigBee based android tablet, sensors and lights etc.

• Worked on some key areas in parallel to my project, I had done some R&D to modify android kitkat framework to detect a touch sensor using arduino and i.MX6 board. The peer android app running on other device under the same network, as i.MX6, is notified on intrusion of any object.
• Key items :
• Programmed the touch sensor using Arduino to signal the port on i.MX6.
• Read and modified the Kitkat source code to implement the new touch sensor.
• Developed an android app which can register to listen events through the newly added touch sensor and notify the user on any intrusion.
• Later have been moved to an UPNP based product for one of the client, where three apps were required to control(Controller) the shared media(Server) & play it to the renderer device. Though these apps were developed for multiple platforms, I was initially involved in development of "Renderer" using JNI, AIDL with android service & some GUI work for android. Key responsibilities :
• JNI Solution to interact with client provided static libraries and provide the responses back to app.
• AIDL interface for Renderer application to communicate with the JNI.
• Partial UI development of Renderer.
• Few features development for "Controller" module in android.
• Then I got a chance to own the development of RVNC based Mirror Link client for a car infotainment system(Honda : City, WRV or other latest models of Honda). With the client development in the AOSP key learning here was UPnP, RTP streams and security of a license/key for a product and the way we can create and use the system level permissions in framework apps. Following is the work done in the app :
• Understanding the sdk for all its components(Viewer, Audio, DAP etc.)
• Crating the app using RVNC sdk to communicate with the ML Phone(server)
• Security of the key stored in the system at various levels through encryption etc.
• After delivering the above, I have worked fixing CTS issues in Audio HAL for WinDriver 6.0 tablet having Intel's ALSA.

• I had joined Hughes as an Engineer in the Connected Devices group and got an opportunity to work on one of their best services for "Viavi(JDSU) Truesite" - an android based portable solution for RF engineers to test small radio cells in Indoor/ Outdoor networks. Moreover, It helps to RF test of voice calls, data services by network provider & many network related measurements. Most of the work I have done in the controller module, a tablet called controller can have connection to 7 mobile phones & 1 DRT over the Bluetooth controlling them and these connected devices provides their measurements to this controller back and it act upon that data then provide the report to users. This includes the configuration module creation and applying it on slaves over the bluetooth then collect back the data reported from slaves. Key items worked :
• Design & implement the configuration module for controller :
• UI design and creation for controller
• Database design for controller and slaves for the configuration operations
• Creation of configurations for different aspects of slaves and controller
• Applying these configs on slaves over the Bluetooth, implementation on slave side also.
• Collect the data reported from slaves and take action on controller
• Performance improvements for the whole product
• Analyzing layout hierarchy and memory leaks
• Code reviews for optimization
• Feature development
• VoLTE call test (from the pre-built library provided)
• LTE-Advanced RF parameters reporting and analyzing in the code as per 3GPP spec
• Multiple other small features implemented

• I have been involved in development of android applications during my tenure there as an individual performer, developed two client projects : one was an online polling system called "Which?" another was a library project to provide developers some readymade code to achieve their memory usage between events marked.

• I have joined eSec as a Mobile application developer in the very begining of their mobile division setup. From the begnining I have learned developing multiple type of applications, includes Kids edutainment Parental control system "EDDY" or entertainment apps like Live Wallpapers or 2D games in the andEngine. I have worked on number of apps there like "Learn spoken English - Native", had done some apk decompilation to restore the code for one of our client "Freestufftimes" & many more learnings in quantity of apps.
