• Launched trainman.in in May 2014, which predicts confirmation chances of waitlisted Indian Railway tickets
• helping the user in planning his journey in advance. The idea of trainman was an instant hit. It was the first app to use machine learning on train data and predict confirmation chances of tickets.
• Set up the complete technology stack for the site, including webserver, frontend, middle tier and database.
• Led development of features such as the flagship trainman prediction, trends etc.
• Expanded the team from 2 people to 30 by extensive hiring and interviewing.
• Trainman has received widespread applauds from train users, with around 200,000 daily active users evolving into a complete train ticket assistant app for Indian travelers, with more than a million users.
• Trainman was acquired by Adani Digital Labs and is now a wholly owned subsidiary of Adani Group.

• Winshuttle was my first employer after post-graduating from college and I would definitely consider myself fortunate to have worked in it's small but energetic work environment. I moved between various roles at Winshuttle including Engineering Support and Development. Starting a completely new product, Winshuttle's cloud offering called Winshuttle Connect, from scratch with a very small team, something not every developer can boast off, really worked a great deal in raising my in-depth knowledge and standard. It taught me to improvise under pressure and give my best, even when it is not utterly required.
