Conceptualized a under water laser based communication system for 10 m range with mentor scientist at LASTEC (Laser Science and Technology Center). Based on the same design 100 m and greater range system is under development at Bangalore facility.
Made a Data Acquisition System using LabVIEW which was used in Jitter correction experiment of LASER. LabVIEW is system design software that provides engineers and scientists with the tools needed to create and deploy measurement and control systems through hardware integration. Using a serial port to connect the Adlink based ADC (analogue to digital) card data to a computer system was made and tested.
Learned VHDL and implemented digital circuits using it on Xilinx FPGA development board.
