• Leading the Demand Engineering org at Flexport, on a mission to enhance the experience of prospective clients and streamline the path from initial interest to becoming a satisfied customer. This multifaceted, multi-team programs focuses on three key areas:
• Top of the Funnel Optimization: The project begins by revamping Flexport's online presence at Flexport.com. The goal is to provide potential clients with a tailored and relevant experience that not only captures their interest but also increases conversion rates while reducing associated costs.
• Middle of the Funnel Enrichment: The team is concentrating on enriching data to empower the outbound sales team. By enhancing the account database, and providing AI based insights and analytics, they aim to provide the sales team with a robust tool that enables them to effectively engage prospective clients.
• Accelerating the Acquisition to Activation Journey: The project also places a strong emphasis on ensuring a smooth and delightful journey for clients, from the moment they express interest in Flexport to their first shipment. This involves optimizing the demo experience and creating a world class, developer/user-friendly integration and onboarding platform for clients.

• Key Achievements:
• Built multi-geography tech teams from scratch, organized into multiple modalities, and lead Freight APis, Finance-Tech and Data Foundations teams. Aligning with business needs, developed the charter, short-term and long-term roadmaps for team, setting clear quarterly execution and deliverables till 2025.
• Transformed the entire Freight pricing and Invoicing for the company, delivering a customizable, adaptive and intelligent pricing and route planning engine. This is the heart of the Tier-1 Freight APIs for Quiet, providing route optimization, pricing information, invoice calculation and shipment plan optimization. Automated the manual invoicing process, delivered the centralized invoicing service, which can generate regular and adjustment invoices for multiple businesses for Quiet.
• Abstracted and unified external integration for Quiet tech stacks for fulfillment, freight, analytics, reporting, finance etc.) through an API based Externalization Platform. This platform provides a spec based, secure, faster and no-code way for external integration reducing the integration time from weeks to days. Created a network of external certified developers and provided ready-to-use SDKs, connectors, tools to them for expanding our integrations.
• Architected the data lake and data-marts for Quiet Platforms. This will act as a single source of repository of all kinds of data requirements for reporting, analytics, tracking and auditing. Ideated a holistic view of all the data needs and design cost effective, time sensitive data-marts to fulfill the needs. Also lead the design of model training pipeline for the ML team for automated training and deployment of models.

• Direct tier-1 service for entire Alexa run-time, as well as lead cross-functional teams to provide innovative products for both 1P and 3P customers. Improved seller onboarding efficiency for Amazon (by 42%) by delivering ‘Seller onboarding platform’.
• Key Achievements/Contributions:
• Conceptualized and led the creation of a new-age Seller onboarding platform for the entire seller fraternity across Amazon. The friction-less platform provides complete onboarding of new sellers, in a much more intuitive, faster and convenient way, with highly customized workflows for every seller type, The platform was received by sellers with a very high acceptance rating and is used in all the regions now and reduced the dropout rate from 63% to 39%.
• Owned the Re-Architecting of the monolithic Alexa Service in 3 more focused tier-1 services to increase the ease of development, developer velocity, and availability. The entire Alexa traffic was migrated to new architecture, with zero downtime and zero latency increase. Received compliment: “Changing engine of 737, in flight”, from Tom Taylor, SVP, Alexa
• Spearheaded multi-org charter for Security and Privacy over Alexa communication with North-star of making Alexa the most trusted device on Earth. Conceptualized and delivered “security context of a skill” as a multi-org data platform, protecting customer across all stages of skill life cycle.
• Spearheaded multi-million-dollar projects across multi-faceted areas, such as e-commerce, cloud development ML/AI, AML, security, and privacy within time and budgetary constraints. Directed multi-disciplinary teams of 30+ SDEs/QAs/SEs spread across domains such as engineering, legal, and backend to develop precise product requirements.
