• Drove an extensive user research effort to understand user needs for reading experiences, identified a specific new target user segment – students with learning disabilities - and the solution eventually evolved into the inclusive learning tools for students (a new product area itself).
• As part of the reading experiences bouquet of offerings, led the product management team to ship PDF reading and editing experiences in Edge. Also led the product management team and drove a cross-geo, cross-group collaboration to ship the v1 for Edge on macOS – optimizing the user experience to macOS UX guidelines and user expectations while ensuring the product was coherent with overall Edge personality.

• Drove growth of embedded phone experiences (primarily Android) in Windows (enhancing Windows experiences using content and capabilities of phones and providing seamless continuity of experiences across devices). Used extensive data analysis and designed solutions to significantly improve onboarding funnel conversion and improve user retention. Then led the effort to significantly increase the top of funnel through seamless discovery and intuitive onboarding. Drove a large program across internal teams (influencing 20+ PMs, 200+ engineers) to ensure a coherent and consistent experience being shipped by multiple teams. With this effort, doubled the monthly active users (MAU) for the product in two years.

• Designed the interaction experiences (UI and Powershell) for v1 of Hyper-V Replica to provide a low-cost and intuitive solution for SMB customers (Small and Medium Businesses) to set up BCDR (Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery) plans for their services.
• Got excellent feedback during the various talks I gave in internal and external facing Microsoft events (TechEd, TechReady) to socialize this solution (consistently getting 4.7+/5 ratings).

• At the early level of my career at Microsoft, defined and designed Windows XP Mode (a virtualization-based solution), which was a critical offering for Windows 7 that helped users adopt Windows 7 with confidence as it promised a guaranteed way around backward compatibility for apps and hardware.
