As of 2025, with over 11 years of experience in software engineering, I’ve grown into a role that sits at the intersection of technology and people. I build and scale distributed systems and data platforms, and I also build and scale teams — nurturing them through strong engineering practices, empathetic leadership, and pragmatic, business-aligned decision-making. I understand how to build, scale & manage systems, and I also understand people & how to guide, inspire & lead them. The balance between these two avenues is the real nectar of what I bring to the table in my workplace. I come with more than a decade of experience in backend engineering & data engineering — building and managing systems that serve millions of active users and empower data-driven decision-making. Beyond my day job, I lead an online project called A Better Way. The chief aim of my work there is to inspire action as a community towards a better way for ourselves, for the ones we share this life with and for the ones who haven’t arrived yet.
