• As a Lead for Cloud Solution Architect for Partners, I drive partner capability and capacity on Azure in collaboration with Azure Practice Development Managers and portfolio partners. As a CSA for Data Platform & Analytics is a technical, partner facing role that is accountable for new practice development in both existing and recruit partners, working with them to build technical capability and capacity and partnering to deliver successful data platform and analytics designs and deployments. I own the Azure technical partner engagement including: technical readiness, architectural design using an I/we/you approach, collaborating with portfolio partners on projects and/or Proofs of Concepts and unblocking through partner deployment blockers. I develop solutions with partners to drive repeatable customer value and partner profitability.
• What all do I do:
• Deep practice engagement with a selected list of exclusive partners. I am involved in quarterly portfolio review and updates and drive architectural choices to drive Azure Cloud deployments. I drive through-partner deployment and utilization of Azure services by supporting partners in pre-sales technical efforts, POCs and reviewing designs/providing guidance.
• I help partners develop their Data Platform and Analytics practices on Azure and even on-premise deployments of SQL Server. Some of the relevant workloads include Dashboards & data visualization, Big Data, Data Warehousing, Advanced & Predictive Analytics Data Platform Modernization, Hybrid Data conversations and Database Migration.
• I do 400 Level depth interactions in Data Platform & Analytics plus analyze competitive insights to help partners create products that are future proof, scalable, performant and meets every goals defined by customers. I also evangelize and support broad, online plus local readiness efforts to partners. I am the subject matter expert (SME) on partners getting Microsoft Azure Support and Cloud Competency technical requirements.

• Microsoft Technology Centers (MTCs) are collaborative environments that provide a platform for the customers and partners of Microsoft to envision, design and deploy solutions that meet their business needs. In this role, I help customers, startups and partners choose the right technical stack from the breadth of Microsoft technologies to deploy their solution. As a Solution Architect, I am responsible for articulating the business value of Microsoft and the Cloud Computing platform to the customers.
• I help real customers from Enterprise, Startup, ISVs and Government to take the journey to "Cloud First Mobile First" World with the skills to move their IT infrastructure and applications to Cloud. Helping customers with hands-on architecture with focus on designing highly available, scalable and reliable cloud solutions. This role involves in meeting customers almost every other day to help visualize their IT Landscape and architect solutions for their enterprise. Day job looks at helping customers find solutions to their business problems. I am fortunate to work on customers problems that involve discussions involving Consolidation, BI, Big Data, Vizualizations, Deployment, Application Practices, Migration to Cloud, Upgrade their current architecture to new technologies and more.
• I get involved with strategic direction sessions to CxO to help them visualize how technology can bring value in solving their short term and long term visions. Help the IT Heads and Development / Deployment Managers in deep dive sessions/code reviews involving technical architectural discussions every day and building an architectural blueprint for their solutions. MTC India also has an interesting offering of Performance Tuning and POC which helped customers to bring TB's of data for testing and performance tuning.

• The prime work in this role was to help the Server and Tools Business drive adoption of SQL Server and drive perception of SQL Server as a Enterprise Platform. Building and nurturing the developer ecosystem on upcoming/existing Microsoft Technologies and helping them build great solutions for Customers. Manage developer relations, communities, big ticket technology events as well as third party forums. Talking at all the major conferences was one of the tasks I had in my charter.
• Working with local communities and inspiring them to use the Microsoft Technologies in the right way and delivering quality content was one of my prime target.
• In this role, I was instrumental in being the content owner for globally acclaimed event like TechEd in India. Apart from owning tracks, structure the sessions, content pruning - I also made sure to deliver some of the quality talks at the events.
