• Worked across 3 teams during my duration at HBO.
• Services Frameworks:
• Created a library for interacting with Postgres reducing the boilerplate code needed to connect to db. Included circuit breaking capabilities and being able to take a replica in/out of rotation for requests. The library is being used by multiple teams across the organization
• Search:
• Part of the efforts to migrate the Search services from AWS CloudSearch to ElasticSearch based infrastructure.
• Worked on splitting the Search and Indexing services into individual microservices.
• Worked on the Internationalization efforts for Search services for HBOMax across Europe and Latam 2021.
• Led the efforts to make the indexing service horizontally scalable as the content size grew >10x with International launch.
• Led the efforts for making the Indexing pipeline event driven in response to the updates in the HBO catalog data.
• CiV (Content Ingestion and Validation):
• Spent most of time on the Validation side of Content Ingestion. The service is responsible for deciding what content stays on the platform based on the Validation result and notifying multiple sources about the Validation results. Worked on making the service behavior more robust.
• After the merger with Discovery, worked briefly on designing a similar Validation service for the new platform.

• Currently working in one of the teams in the Education Engineering organization where we primarily work on building tools that increase the productivity of teachers and facilitate in creating a stronger ecosystem for education.
• I am currently working on creating an integration between a Learning Object Repository and Office Forms.
• Prior to that worked on adding the grading functionality for Office Forms to automate grading to some extent and enable teachers to efficiently grade assignments.
• Was also a part of the Office MAX(Modern Assistance and Support Experience) team where we owned Support.office.com(SOC) and Templates.office.com(TOC).
• Worked on adding UI automation test coverage for SOC and redesigning TOC from scratch to increase crawlability and SEO (indexing rate went from around 50% to 98%)
