• In the summer of 2007 my friend Md. Shahid was planning to set up an outsourcing firm from scratch. In a strategic partnership with Spinaxys I worked as the interim CTO for S-axxis the company was profitable by december 2007 at which time I left for spinaxys. My main responsibilities at S-axxis were Getting the technical team together, setting up software development processes and infrastructure, Customer Discovery based Product Design, Presales Techincal Interface to customers. I setup the main product(service) offering (CMS,E-Commerce) with competitive SLAs, Product mix and pricing. I was in charge of solution design/techincal proposals for clients, setting up agile processes for the software development.

• I am actively involved in the tech and startup communities in hyderabad. I have been the co-organizer of several barcamps, startup saturdays and other events for the tech community at hyderabad.

• Co-Founded spinaxys along with poorna shashank(Ex-oracle, now tech architect at Cozy Games) and rahul amaram(Ex-Infosys, now working at Synovel a FOSS startup) in july 2006 after taking a leave of absence from my research at IIIT Hyderabad. Spinaxys brought two products and a prototype to market before closing down in december 2008. The products include a behavioral targeting engine for relevant sms ads, a digital signage system integrated with a bluecasting server, a knowledge management system with an infromation extraction engine and a collaboration engine. Our behavioural targeting engine was presented at Proto.in, india's premier startup showcase event to rave reviews. Spinaxys was bootstrapped with High-IP services like Information Retrieval, 3d Graphics engines( cloth simulation for virtual mannequins ), Open Source software consulting.
