• Responsible for architecture initiatives, product development and modernization of a few product lines at Health Edge. Area of focus - performance, horizontal scale, build out an enterprise grade architecture for our product lines like Answers and Payor. Payor is a core processing platform that automates adjudication of claims while Answers is our analytics product. • Responsible for Engineering at Pointillist & Mortgage Builder, both are Altisource owned companies. Pointillist is a startup that is incubated by Altisource Labs while Mortgage Builder was a company that Altisource accquired. Pointilist grew out of Consumer Analytics practice, It is a SAAS products in the big data space that harness power of psychology, predictive analytics and machine learning. Consumer Analytics group built and shipped 3 commercial products for Altisource. Mortgage Builder is in the business of building commercial software for Loan Origination.
• ◆ Mortgage Builder transitioned the company from a clunky fat client architecture to a modern OpenSource stack based on Micro-Service architecture which leverages workflows based on Activity & Regulatory rules which were build on top of Drools / Guvnor. Drove the cost of owner ship of this solution down significantly
• ◆ Pointillist is an Customer Experience Management / analytics product; built for massive scale to provide near real time actionable insights on time series data. It is built on lightweight web servers like UnderTow, Kafka, Samza and Cassandra; the events are then treated through algorithms developed by Data sciences team

• End 2 End responsible for all provisioning & integration systems of InMobi’s mobile Ad network. Responsibilities included ownership for all platform components, API gateway & mobile SDK (for iOS, Android & WP8).
• ◆ Core platform services / layer on which all-provisioning systems (Campaign and supply on-boarding, targeting {based on Device, Geo, Demog, Day part}, budget and pricing) of the ad network are captured. Acts as a backbone for LTVP and Mediation engine.
• ◆ SDKs for Android, iOS and Windows app developers. The SDK family includes support for ad network, mediation platform, ad tracker and LTVP / app engage platform. The extensions to the SDK include integration with context engine. The SDK team is also responsible for plugins and adapters for Mediation players.
• ◆ API gateway for Supply and Demand on-boarding. Targeted for Agencies and large aggregators for integration and bulk operations with the ad network. Administrative Systems for Ad Ops, Pub ops, Revenue ops, Fin ops, Marketplace levers, integrations with back office systems like Salesforce and SAP. Successfully led the teams in internal hackathon competition and was recognised for submitting the maximum number of Ideas with high revenue potential.

• Built an analytics framework for NGD Ad Exchange (non guaranteed delivery) called “XAF” (eXchange Analytical Framework). Also designed and developed a mission critical behavioural targeting components for ad serving at Yahoo. System was build for petabyte scale and uses big data technologies like Hadoop MapReduce for aggregating and transforming massive amount of data for near real time decisioning.
• ◆ XAF is an inference engine to study the efficacy, health & track operational aspects of the RMX ad exchange. The tool has capabilities to manage demand, supply, liquidity, identify revenue drivers, analyse real time bidding trends and track top selling audience segments.
• ◆ The solution supports tracking about ~350 ad networks, 50k advertisers and 150k publishers with transaction volumes of 9 - 15 bln ad impressions per day. The exchange supports Real Time Bidding (RTB) both for supply and demand, which creates about roughly 2 - 3 petabytes of data to be analysed on a constant basis. Team was recognised with an UROCK award during Q1 2011 a prestigious recognition within the company that a lot of teams across locations compete

• Responsible for Business Configuration (BC) and Business Task Management (BTM) of SAP’s SAAS initiative “Business By Design” aka “A1S / All in one solution”.
• ◆ BC initiative is aimed at reducing total cost of ownership and adoption time of SAP solutions. Idea was to enable continuous adoption of product changes without going through disruptive upgrade cycles and reduce time to onboard new tenants. Authored concept papers for Business Task Management. Proposed ideas for BTM to enable it as a pervasive intelligence tool & support closed loop analytics.
• ◆ Responsibility included building and mentoring a staff of about 12 FTE’s direct line and 14 dotted line / contract employees through design, development, implementation and conceptualisation phases of BC and BTM tools. Was privileged to be a mentor for one of the Top Talent teams that ended up in the final round at SAP which entails board member concept sponsorship. Top Talent at SAP Labs during 2006.

• As a Principal Staff Engineer at Portal software ( a Oracle company) worked on various aspects of design and development of a realtime billing & Transaction In Memory Object Store (TIMOS), which is used as a platform for Rating, Discounting, Balance Monitoring and Billing for cell phone metering software (prepaid and postpaid).
• ◆ Worked extensively on performance, scalability and latency issues on UNIX platforms (Solaris and HPUX). Delivered several improvements for addressing real time SLA requirements for tier one clients. Worked on improving system throughput of various component layers by identifying and isolating issues with monitoring tools like Dtrace, Glance, Caliper, SAR.
