• Worked at Chegg as a Backend Developer developing micro services and maintained them as an owner. Learnt the complete flow of a software application from scratch code development to final deployment. Gained experience on AWS services such as ECS, SQS, S3, Elasticache. Worked on Java Spring framework and company’s home- grown framework named Odin to create REST API’s for frontend. Analyzed and Implemented Design Patterns. Worked on multiple database platforms SQL, Mongo, Cassandra. Improved my skills on Linux/Mac CLI and Git. Got a chance to Dockerize many applications. Did good research work on image processing applications. Gained some experience on Grails framework and groovy. Got familiarized with Bitbucket, Jenkins and New Relic.
• Sight-API micro-service – An image transcription service backed up by an infrastructure of message queues and optical character recognition service providers such as Google Vision and Mathpix.
• Content Relation micro-service – A service that makes related data published by ML scientist searchable. This service is backed by S3 , SQS and schedulers. This consists of two component data ingestion feature and rest api over the ingested data.
• Sitemap Generator – A feed generator service that generates incremental and full feeds for google search indexing backed by an architecture of job templating, spring batch, S3, SQS, Cloud watch and Quartz schedulers.
• Media API – Added a feature to improve the user experience by detecting disoriented images and correcting them. This involved a research in image processing techniques to determine the actual orientation of the image.
• Karma Tool – A grails application to store the abused content on the website backed up by moderation-api. Worked on both frontend and backend to resolve the existing issues with the application and adding new features like search over different fields and proper display of the content.

• Worked on iProf App, India’s biggest M-learning Android application providing students access to 500+ courses. Learned about Android fundamentals and external libraries/SDK such as PayU SDK, Mobikwik SDK, and Deeplink Navigation via branch IO, Volley, Google Analytics, custom UI libraries such as coverflow and implemented these concepts on following modules.
• Payment Gateway - Integrated Payment Gateway especially PayU and Mobikwik SDK seamlessly using native user interface. Added Card Storing feature and applied card validations like Luhn algorithm.
• Beat My Score - Built an interactive two player game lets user challenge others to compete on their test score by sending notifications or sharing on social media.
• Subscription Module - Added a feature that allows users to browse content on subscription basis and manage it.
• Google Analytics - Integrated Google Analytics throughout the app for analysing user actions, behaviour flow, time spent on a screen and payment transactions.
• App Size Reduction - Developed a Java tool to quickly remove unused files detected through Android lint.
• Other Services - Added reminder notifications such as for user non-interactivity with the app or unpurchased items in cart for improving user engagement and interactions.
