• Worked on new and upcoming field of Proteomics for "Functional Annotation of hypothetical proteins from Leishmania brazileinsis" using a structural genomics based approach.
• Analysed these hypothetical proteins and their amino acid sequence in order to assign functions to these proteins using several bioinformatics and bio-analysis tools like - BLASTP, PIR, ExPASy and PyMOL.
• As a result of this study, we were able to establish that the 3-D protein structure may be able to assist in future researches for searching catalytic roles of these proteins in metabolic pathways and in insilico drug designing.
