• Helped students prepare for competitive exams via mobile app as well as a hybrid online-offline model.
• As the CTO, I lead the vision and execution of Technology at Career Power.
• My role encompassed building the engineering team and culture from scratch, architecting the tech stack to scale to millions of user across platforms - both web and mobile.
• Our android app has more than 1 million downloads and is ranked #2 in India's education category.
• A lot of smarts have gone into the app to make it work on low end networks, sub-INR 2000 phones.
• We have built our own Video streaming and bundling solution from scratch.
• Students can order a tablet / SD card containing videos, eBooks, Mock test series.
• The content will play out on any mobile device without an internet connection.
• All authentication, privacy-control measures are taken care of.
• All of the above was done using a team of 12 engineers !
• Currently over 60 thousand students study in our offline centers.
• We are heavily focussing on mobile and web as a means to reach students in the remotest corner of India.
