Engineering leader specializing in taking products and teams from zero to one. Full stack technical architect having built products in the hands of millions of users all around the world. The last decade has seen me focusing on FinTech and building consumer products across Lending, Payments, Cards, Banking and Buy Now Pay Later. My curiosity and bias for delivering business outcomes has seen me transition across technologies including Frontend (native Android, iOS, Flutter), Backend (Spring Boot, Kotlin, Hibernate, AWS) and whatever else was required to get sh*t done. While the last few years have seen my focus shift to building high performance engineering teams, my experience being part of numerous 0-1 projects and businesses has meant I've worked in or closely with several critical business functions including Product Management, Analytics and Customer Success. Currently an engineering leader on new initiatives at CRED. Previously part of the early team at Freo and led engineering for several business initiatives over an 8 year stint.

International Expansion (Middle East): Led distributed engineering teams and was the lead engineer in shipping Empay, a FinTech super-app that included contactless (NFC Tap to Pay) payments, merchant integrations, UAE government services, and remittances to any country from the UAE. Worked with stakeholders across multiple continents and embraced remote working before it was cool.
Led engineering for the first phase of MoneyTap's B2B2C foray and helped set the foundation for its Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) business.
MoneyTap: Built and managed mobile platforms for the category-creating credit line product, now scaled to lakhs of customers, crores of users, and multimillions in revenue.
