Kundan Jain — CEO
My entrepreneurial journey began as a proactive student, always seeking real-world experience and learnings beyond the classroom. Frustrated with the traditional education system, I found my calling when I joined my college society, the "Commerce and Management Forum." Representing the elite members of my college, I traveled all across the country, participating in inter and intra-collegiate case study competitions and winning over 25+ awards, including my first free international trip to UAE. But it was during my job search that I truly realized the gap in the current recruitment process. My certificates and trophies were not enough to showcase the invaluable skills I had gained through my experiences. I was disappointed when recruiters didn't value my experience at first, but I was determined to make my experience count. Instead of just talking about my achievements, I showed recruiters the presentations and the creative work I had done for my case study competitions. And that's when it hit me. The opportunity, the gap that motivational speakers talk about in famous TED talks. I realized that the problem wasn't that my experience wasn't worth anything. The problem was that certificates don't do a good enough job of translating what goes down in these competitions. Looking back, it was the exposure and exercise of my skills through these competitions that helped build my confidence, creativity, presentation, communication, and leadership skills. In today's day and age, you can buy a course on Udemy and invest a few hours to pick up a hard skill like Photoshop or Excel, but how do you pick up a soft skill? By practice, and there's no better way for students to practice and hone these skills than participating in talent competitions. If you are studying law, you can participate in moot courts, civil engineers participate in model bridge building competitions and management students participate in marketing, finance, and best manager competitions. It was this realization that led me to found my company, a platform that bridges the divide between education and industry by providing a platform for students to showcase their talents and skills through competitions, and for recruiters to easily identify and recruit top talent. Join me in revolutionizing the recruitment process and empowering individuals to reach their full potential.
