Nilesh Kothari is the Co-founder and Managing Partner of Trifecta Capital, a new age platform for start-ups. Previously, Nilesh served as Global Managing Director (Ventures & Acquisitions) at Accenture plc. and led several large acquisitions and investments for Accenture across the world. Overall, he has nearly 35 years of experience across investments, operations and entrepreneurship. He also been part of several new ventures at the AV Birla Group, JM Financial and the Hero Group. Nilesh is married to Rajul Kothari who is the co-founder of an all-women consulting firm aimed at creating and advancing career opportunities for young women. Both their sons are Stanford University undergrads and successful tech entrepreneurs. He has travelled and worked across the world - North America, Asia Pacific and Europe.

  • Helped turnaround the Company and grow it in the face of adverse business environment. Sales have grown over 30% and Operating Profit grew from low single digits to high double digits. Successfully helped integrate the various entities that were acquired leading to simpler corporate structure, operational efficiencies, cost Savings and head count reduction. Renegotiated all major commercial contracts with a focus on better Risk Management and favorable commercial terms that resulted in significant cost reduction. Effectively managed Treasury and added nearly 10% to the Company’s EBITDA through treasury income. Was intimately involved in Zenta’s sale to Accenture Plc in August 2011.
