• Worked as a Data Product Manager with the Fintech and Payments group (FPG).
• FPG has multiple credit products such as Buy Now, Pay Later and EMI. Customers are offered these credit products based on their shopping history on Flipkart
• I enabled FPG to underwrite customers based on their SMS and Device data. In one year we were able to understand ~50% of the SMS shared by the customers.
• In order to expand FPG beyond Flipkart user base, we had to build a capability to underwrite customers by using external data sources. Hence, we needed a framework to acquire and combine data from multiple sources simultaneously.
• Designed a framework called Unified Feature Platform which will allow us to convert data from multiple sources into a common set of features which can be used in risk policy or underwriting models.
