About

I enjoy supporting healthcare professionals by managing large projects, analyzing data, and speaking one-on-one with clinicians about their day-to-day experiences providing care to patients. After 6 illuminating years of providing direct patient/client care in hospital and behavioral health settings, I decided not to pursue further training that would allow me to increase my scope of practice. Instead I transitioned to healthcare operations. My knowledge pertaining to healthcare management has progressively increased over the past 7 years through roles in health informatics, quality improvement, and physician services. A few major projects have included: • assisting with the EHR conversion from IC-Chart to eClinicalWorks for multi-specialty clinic with approximately 250 providers, • leading the transformation to The National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) Patient Centered Home (PCMH) and Oncology Medical Home recognitions for approximately 30 practices, and • Overseeing the operations of approximately 30 primary care practices.
