  • Description PowerCARD® is a comprehensive credit card product that enables banks and financial industry to enter into issuing & acquiring business of Credit Cards.
  • This product manages front-office and back-office operations for acquirers as well as issuers. American Express, Euro pay, MasterCard, JCB and VISA certify the interfaces with the authorization, clearing and settlement systems, for both single and dual messages.
  • In this project, we developed the Acquiring and Issuing Web based system called Portal. Acquiring Portal includes Merchant Details, Authorization, Batch Close, Network Settled transactions, Merchant Settled transactions, Merchant Statements, Chargeback and Network Rejected transactions handling. Also, this includes extra reports which specifically developed for CIBC FCIB Bank.
  • Issuing Portal includes Corporate, Client, Card, Accounts creation, their maintenance, Issuing related specific reports which were not in Product, Cr card terms and transactions. These portals help a lot in Online Merchant and Customer query resolution and data research for Bank Users.
  • Also, in this project we developed the Batches that were specific to this project.

  •  Multiple Networks: - Four network’s Visa, MasterCard, Amex and Discover cards are being acquired.
  •  Multi Country: - Currently 15 Caribbean countries are Live on Acquiring System.
  •  Multi Currency: - Each Country have own local currency as well as USD as operating currency. So working in multiple currencies.
  •  Parameterized System: - Network Discounts and other calculations in system are parameterized. They can be changed without changing any code.
