• Designed and Developed Bill Pay in App Feature for Walmart Mobile App. Technical Lead for team consisting of backend and mobile engineers. Transactions grew from 250/day to 2000/day as a result of this feature
• Onboarded MailJet and SendGrid as an email Gateway for all the email communications out of the Walmart ecommerce Transactions. Solution designed to handle the scale of 20mil emails/day during holiday peak season with intelligent traffic splitter to distribute email delivery load across multiple internal mail agents as well as cloud partners (Mailjet / SendgGrid)
• Led the migration of Online Grocery Membership database from Maria DB to CosmosDB as Walmart’s migration to Azure public cloud. The database was migrated with zero downtime consisting of million of rows with incremental reverse sync between Maria DB and CosmosDB
• Part of Cart and Checkout (CXO) Team to unify the cart and checkout experience for both General Merchandise and Grocery platform. Single point of contact for issues related to stress tests from CXO side in preparation for Holiday Season (2021)

• Implemented orders feed pipeline for all target.com orders through Kafka which publishes around 3 million feeds per day.
• Designed and implemented an end to end flow of Ship-to-Store orders which accounts for 20% of target.com orders.
• Did performance analysis, troubleshooting, code optimization in preparation for peak traffic season resulting in 20% less traffic on application services.
• Lead the Setup of Grafana dashboards and alerts for the platform using prometheus. First point of contact for any production issue.

• Tapzo was the personal assistant app that helps you get more things done to make your everyday life easier. Be it anything, from recharging your phone to tech support, from booking movie tickets to food ordering, from shopping assistance to finding deals & coupons, from reading news, to finding trending videos and a lot more - Tapzo can get all of them done for you.
• Part of the dev team at Tapzo which wrote Tapzo App from scratch and had ~ 2 Lakh DAU and ~50k transactions / day at its peak.
• Lead team of 5 engineers to create following features on Tapzo: Signup / Signin, News, Horoscope, Sports, Notification Delivery
• Scaled the Tapzo backend consisting of 20+ microservices (written in Java, Python, Node) to achieve 15k requests / second on frontend Nginx server. Scaling include micro-caching on Nginx, moving asynchronous executors from blocking I/O (Celery) to non-blocking I/O (NodeJs).
• Managed the growth from 3 servers to ~200+ servers in datacenter. Owned provisioning using Ansible and monitoring / alerting using Collectd, InfluxDB, Grafana and ELK (Elasticsearch Logstash Kibana)

• Developed innovative Windows 7 sidebar gadget using HTML / CSS / Javascript which consumes SharePoint 2010 Web Services to provide end user to very frequently viewed upon data. The gadget was a huge productivity win for org of 500+ employees as it allowed them to view frequent data at the desktop rather than opening browser window.
• Designed and developed solutions with SharePoint 2010 replacing Lotus Notes applications. Owned and executed data migration strategy for the same.

• FPT, Vietnam & Monsanto, US: Lead and guided the team of around 100 engineers at FPT, Vietnam to migrate 28 Lotus Notes Applications to Microsoft Office SharePoint Server.
• Emerson, US: Architected, designed and implemented, Emerson’s public facing site www.emerson.com on SharePoint 2007
