  • Most recently working on "cognitive computing" and software as a service. I have worked on a variety of strategic initiatives for IBM including "smarter planet" and "IT for the next billion." I worked with consultants developing tools for Component Business Modeling (CBM) and helped develop various industry maps as well as the "universal" CBM model. From 1973 to 1986, I worked in a number of different areas of human computer interactions. In 1986, I left IBM to start and manage an AI lab at NYNEX. I rejoined IBM in 1998 to work in knowledge management, community tools, and e-learning.
